1. Manuscript

Quadrille: Quadrille was written between 1951 and 1952, and was first performed at the Phoenix Theatre, London, on the twelfth of September 1952. The production was popular with the public, but disparaged by the critics. Coward donated the autograph script to the University on the 11th July 1972 on the occassion of being awarded an honorary doctorate.
