The River Ouse Project: Life Stories and Meadow Restoration Conference was held on Saturday 2 February 2008 in the Arts A1 Lecture Theatre at the ÄûÃÊÊÓƵ.
This event provided an opportunity to learn about an interdisciplinary project being undertaken by CCE faculty, students and volunteers. Using archival sources, oral histories and ecological fieldwork, we are exploring the conservation potential of washlands in the upper River Ouse catchment in East Sussex when used for flood alleviation. Guest speakers will discuss other related conservation projects.
