Funding and help for UK students

If you're from England, you may be eligible for:

  • a , where you can apply for up to £12,471 for your course 
  • government funding and loans if you want to study  or  (such as a PGCE)
  • to help you cover some extra costs. Email studentsupport@sussex.ac.uk for more information.

You  at the same time as other student loans you may have. 

If you normally live in  or , postgraduate funding is different so check with your local student funding agency.

You may also be able to apply for a Masters scholarship, which can include some fees and living costs funding.

You can also look for a part-time or student job to help fund your Masters.

Funding for European students

You may be eligible for:

  • a , where you can apply for up to £12,167 for your course 
  • a Masters scholarship, which can include fees and living costs funding
  • if you are from Germany
  • if you are from Norway.

You can register to use the  to search for Masters funding through other organisations. 

If you are a:

  • current student, you register with your Sussex email address
  • prospective student, enter 6789 in the Alternative Guide Pin box to register.
