Data Date
Thursday 28 November 14:00 until 15:00
ÄûÃÊÊÓƵ Campus : Sussex Humanities Lab (opposite SB211) Silverstone Building
Part of the series: Digital Methods Accelerator (DMA)
Digital Humanities and Data Science methodologies offer a wealth of computational methodologies to analyze, mine, map, visualize, and cluster a range of research materials, which can address challenges of collecting and analysing social media data, including documentation levels, platform registration oversight, API availability, decentralisation, blockchain integration, content types, presentation, and query methods.
These methods can support work on a range of research material (data or sources) - from text to numerical (qualitative or quantitative), from audio-visual material to 3D models, from PDF documents to social media posts. Simply bring your data (or sample set) to one of our sessions and speak to members of our team about the possible methodologies that are available.
These are supportive, exploratory sessions designed to help you on your research journey, they will also inform the type of training we deliver in our open workshop series which offers training on various digital skills.
Pop along, bring your data. You never know where your data date might lead!
This event is open to ÄûÃÊÊÓƵ staff and students only. When registering for this event please use your UoS email address.
