Seed projects
Developing knowledge exchange generally takes place over time. Opportunities can emerge from long-standing research and impact projects to sustain relationships with trusted partners and collaborators. New embryonic projects can also crop up, move quickly, require risk-taking.
Seed funds can help move an existing project to the next stage. This may be by adding capacity, underwriting different or new modes of research engagement, enabling new ways to co-create investigations, or by offering solutions to challenges. They can match funds or in-kind contributions brought by partners, and facilitate unexpected outcomes as well as address present issues.
Our aim is to seed projects, so that they grow. It is a learning process for all involved in the collaboration, from the initial idea or moment of public engagement, to the evolving knowledge exchange project and its partnerships. Our case studies are where we log that learning.
