Launch of Doctoral Overseas Conference Grant
We are pleased to announce our first call of the Doctoral Overseas Conference (DOC) grant, which replaces the Alumni Travel Grant scheme.
The DOC grant supports overseas conference attendance for our doctoral students who are active participants in a conference (with either a paper or presentation accepted). Up to £1,000 can be applied for (for any one student during the period of your registration). Applicants must be registered for a doctoral degree at the ÄûÃÊÊÓƵ and the application made prior to submission of their thesis.
Funding applications will be considered by members of the Doctoral Studies Committee. In allocating the awards the following criteria will be used:
- Quality of application
- Conference profile and suitability
- Supervisor’s statement
Payment includes a contribution towards travel costs, accommodation and conference fees only.

We're excited to be working with the Hive Scholars on our joint festive event taking place on the afternoon of Thursday 11th December (15:00 - 17:00).
