Research
I am interested in organisational theory and practice and also wider issues of social and political change.
In particular, I am interested in building alterantive forms of organising goods and services which do not rely on standard State or Private sector forms. These include co-opetatives, mutuals, employee owned and other third sector social enterprises.
Understanding how existing centre-left parties and movements relate to non-state but also non-private forms of organising is a focus also.
I like to use both empiricial and normative approaches to studying organisations.
