Cyber Security concerns the way in which individuals and organisations can reduce the risk of cyber-attacks. Cyber Security has become a crucial aspect of our daily lives where we are increasingly reliant upon digital platforms, risking cyber threats that can lead to data breaches, financial losses, and damage to reputation. With Cyber Security Awareness Month taking place this October, The Principles of Cyber Security course offered by East Sussex College Group provides a great opportunity to build on the Cyber Security at Sussex monthly bitesize training and on your existing knowledge of Cyber Security issues.

- Appreciate the need for Cyber Security and the impact of cyber-crime.

- Gain knowledge of malicious software and ways in which a system can be infected.

- Flexible learning: With an estimated completion time of 1-4 weeks, the course is fully online and designed to be self-paced. Whether you have a few minutes during lunch or a couple of hours on the weekend, you can engage with the material when best suits you, while benefiting from an experienced assessor on hand to help you with any questions you might have.
- Professional development: Upon successful completion of the course, you will gain a fully accredited Level 2 certificate by NCFE CACHE, enhancing your CV and professional profile. A qualification in this area can also act as a stepping stone for those who wish to study Cyber Security at a higher level.
