Reason for downtime: We are aware that some students and staff are unable to access University resources, including the website, Sussex Direct, Canvas and the staff VPN. These issues may be intermittent, and not affecting everyone. We are investigating the cause of these issues.

The issues with accessing University resources from off campus appears to be an issue with Sky Broadband. This seems to be affecting all Sky Broadband customers. The issues will need to be resolved by Sky externally.
Sky Broadband have now confirmed that they have resolved the issues and .ac.uk domains are now accessible for their customers.
