As part of our ongoing assessment of the University network, you might notice staff from Coastal Data visiting buildings on campus in the coming weeks. You’ll be able to spot them in branded t-shirts or carrying an ID badge. Coastal are surveying the Wi-Fi in certain buildings along with the physical fibre connections.
For a lot of students and staff, nothing matters more than a stable internet connection. However, before we begin the large project of improving the Sussex network, we need a comprehensive survey of the quality of connections in key locations across the campus.
