Service Affected: If you’ve tried to load a lecture recording in Canvas in the last couple of days, you’ll see a ‘buffering’ message but the video will not play.
Date / time: 13 April 2019, 11:30 - ongoing
Reason for downtime: We’re investigating the cause of this issue and will resolve it as soon as possible.

The Lecture Capture system is now recording and delivering videos.
If you’ve recorded a lecture in the last few days, you may see the error ‘processing failure’. If you see this, please publish your recording again. We will be monitoring the system closely for any further problems.
No recordings were lost during this incident.
