We may reset your password within the next 24 hours to protect your account and your data. If this happens, you won’t be able to access University services or connect to eduroam until you’ve set a new password in Sussex Direct.
In recent weeks, the University has been one of many institutions hit by a . We’ve been able to identify over 1000 students and staff who have given away their login details to these scams, and whose accounts are being used to send spam emails. We will be resetting the passwords on these accounts.
As an additional protective measure, you will no longer be able to set your password back to one you’ve used before.
If you find that you can no longer connect your devices to eduroam tomorrow, or if you can’t log in to services like Canvas or your email, please visit Sussex Direct and follow the link to reset your password.
