Description of work:
We’ll be taking the Sussex website offline for up to 2 hours while we perform some essential maintenance.

What will you notice while this work is carried out?
You won’t be able to access any pages on the Sussex site. We hope to have the site restored in less than two hours. If you visit the site while the work is being carried out, you’ll see a page that tells visitors the site is temporality down for maintenance.
Access to Canvas and Sussex Direct won’t be affected by this work. You can use bookmarks you’ve saved or follow these links:
Why are we doing this work?
For the last two years, the Sussex website has operated without interruption 99.8% of the time. However, in order to ensure a reliable service the data storage equipment on which the website relies needs to be replaced. ?This is part of an systematic programme of works to improve and modernise systems across the University network.

This morning's work to migrate the Sussex website was successful and is now complete. The website is back online.
