Module Outline
This module consists of a series of seminars covering several topics - including national laws on data and ethical implications. This will include seminars provided by other Data-Science oriented companies and organisations.
Module learning outcomes
Systematically understand and critique the basics of the national law on data protection and freedom of information.
Systematically understand the wider ethical context related to data science when data are relative to human or living beings.
Systematically understand and critique the wider socio-economic context of data science.
Demonstrate self-direction and originality through writing a concise essay on wider aspects of data science.
