Introduction to COSHH and DSEAR

This training provides the learner with an understanding of the key elements of both COSHH and DSEAR, and provides an overview of things that should be considered when working with substances that present COSHH and DSEAR hazards.
This is a discussion-based session aimed at helping people work with chemicals effectively through sharing and discussing methods of working that promote best practice. The course ends with framing slides introducing COSHH and DSEAR.
Who should attend?
Anyone who works with substances hazardous to health or dangerous substances should attend this training. Note those who work with substances hazardous to health or dangerous substances include both professional and academic members of staff involved in the ordering, storage, use, disposal and/or on-campus transportation of dangerous substances. Before attending the session, please complete the below e-learning on Learn Upon.
