By: Aleks Kossowska
Last updated: Wednesday, 27 March 2024
Dr Marc Modat is a Reader in Biomedical Engineering at Kings College London.
Title: Platforms for medical AI, from prototype to clinical deployment
Abstract:
Marc will introduce some of the latest tools developed at King’s College London in collaboration with the wider AI medical image community. Those tools include amongst other MONAI, AIDE or FLIP. MONAI is a large open-source initiative, initially funded by KCL and NVIDIA, to encapsulate the know-how of our community in a AI platform dedicated to image processing and accelerate the pace of translation to clinic. AIDE and FLIP are respectively the deployment engine and federated learning package developed by the AI centre for value based healthcare. Marc will illustrate their use with some of the latest research project undertaken in the school of biomedical engineering and imaging sciences at KCL.
